Cream Pie

This recipe was found at the farm shortly after Grandma Hughes' funeral. No way to know just how good of a recipe it is at the moment. The original recipe was in Lelah Hughes' hand; the recipe for Squash Pie was at the bottom of the same small (about 3" x 6") page. There were no instructions, so I've had to guess. On the back of the page is what appears to be a letter, to Lelah's son, Wayne. Makes me wonder a bit about how these two recipes and the letter came to share the same piece of paper -- did Lelah plan to send these to Wayne?

(Assumed instructions:) Beat all the ingredients together. Pour into 3 pie crusts. Bake at 350 deg F, until the center of the pie has set. Test by inserting a clean table knife; if it comes out clean, the pie is done.
