Birth order of children uncertain. There may have been other children.
Toussaint Sorel was the father of at least three children. One son, Edouard Sorel, is believed could be the same person as Edward Sorel listed as the father of Peter Sorell. The link between Edouard Sorel and Peter Sorell is the point of speculation.
Toussaint and Marie were identified as Edouard's parent on a page from an unidentified book found by Norma Sorelle. This page is from at least a section (the entire book?) on Laprarie, P.Q., Canada marriages. On this page are also found Damase and Salomé, their spouses, as well as at least some of their descendants. (We have a scan of the entire page.)
