Médard's parent's names were established from a page from an unidentified book found by Norma Sorelle. According to p. 257 of this document, Médard married Marie Ursula Poupard on July 25, 1882, and at least one child is shown as marrying in Laprarie, on October 20, 1908. (We have a scan of the entire page.)
