Each year, we try to put up a new Online Advent Calendar, with a new theme and a new approach.
Until recently, we had to tear each year's Online Advent Calendar down after a period, in order
to conserve disk space. Now that we have the space, we're restoring the online calendars of the
past.

2001
|
(Not currently available) This was our first online Advent Calendar; it featured a set of
numbered blocks that led to a photo page and, once activated, revealed a portion of an
"underlying", large photo -- in this case, it was of the St. Nicholas celebration at Heilig
Geist Kirche, in Basel, that year.

In this calendar, it is important to use the "Forward to the calendar" link under the photo
on the "revealed" page in order to be able to progress through the days.

This calendar features an unusual old clock face as the theme for the 24 days before
Christmas. Look around -- there are 9 other links on that front page!

(We skipped 2006 because of an injury.) The 2007 calendar originally ran "backwards", counting
down from 25 (not 24) to Christmas. Now, you can freely click on any of the days, but it is
still worthwhile to click on the "Forward to the calendar" links.
